Job Description

Bewleys Tea & Coffee UK Ltd, one of the UK leading suppliers of hot beverage solutions to the foodservice sector offering nationwide sales & service support with coffee roasting capability at our roastery in Yorkshire have an exciting opportunity for anexperiencedsales professional. We are looking for a National Account Manager to join our dynamic and busy Sales Team. The focus of the role is to set the strategy and develop profitable sales, to deliver in line with budget. You will be responsible for developing keyrelationships to maintain long term account sustainability and identifying new opportunities for growth in your customers and new trade channels.Working Hours & BenefitsMonday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm (Core Hours)Field basedCompany Car/Car allowanceGenerous annual leave & company benefitsKey Responsibilities

  • Delivering the budgeted revenue and profit objectives.
  • Margin maintenance and enhancement across products and equipment in line with budgeted parameters.
  • Analysis, reporting and presentation of category performance and plans for internal business cycle (monthly reporting, quarterly estimates, annual budget)
  • Provide accurate forecasting for the key accounts that you work with.
  • Communicate clearly, the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Engage and support sales field team members in the provision of solutions to their clients
  • To implement appropriate beverage programs to outlets in order to increase sales and add value to both Bewleys and the customer.
  • To work with the marketing team to ensure Bewleys Brand is utilised and to provide marketing support throughout.
  • Lead the negotiation process and engage appropriate support when contract negotiations are required.
  • Identify threats within the external environment and manage appropriately
  • To ensure consistent service levels are provided throughout the country, from both direct sales and distributors teams.
  • Communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify and commercialise new target accounts, growing and developing the business in accordance with the business plans of the company.
  • To develop extensive knowledge of competitors and their activities in territory.
Ideally, we are looking for candidates whose experience and skills encompass the following:
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of working within the coffee industry.
  • Be able to demonstrate that they are responsible, reliable and trustworthy and are aware of our customers and brand.
  • Dynamic, highly motivated and pro-active individual with a passion for coffee
  • Strong capability in Excel and the ability to learn how to use and manipulate IT systems is, essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation.
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
