Associate Director - Tax | Meltham | £60,000 - £80,000The OpportunityProfessional award-winning firm of chartered accountants have a newly created opportunity within their West Yorkshire practice for a highly talented and ambitious tax professional.You will lead the tax function for the firm, reporting to the owners / partners. The role would suit someone driven and career ambitious - there is a route to equity partner available.The role manages a small team from the outset (all progressing towards CTA) and you will inherit an extremely broad and interesting client portfolio. The firm have some incredible relationships and are often involved in some very interesting and high profile / value advisory projects.You will enjoyYou will be given the autonomy, tools, support and investment to really develop and grow the tax division - working with clients across the UK amid a very diverse mix of sectors / trading areas. You will enjoy working for partners that truly value their employees and their clients.This is a down to earth but highly professional and aspirational regional firm and you will have chance to really make a difference and carve out your own reputation for absolute excellence when it comes to tax expertise, services, advice and guidance.If you are someone who wants to be highly valued in a practice that is modern thinking and investing heavily in future success then this could be a career game-changer.You will need:

  • A firm foundation of success in a tax focused role (Tax Manager / Head of Tax) within a practice environment.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with business owners / directors across a wide variety of sectors.
