Job Description

A professional services business, commutable from Ashbourne, Chesterfield, Matlock and Alfreton is seeking to hire into a mixed payroll and bookkeeping job. There is parking on site, a competitive salary, nice location and a long-term and stable employer.Responsibilities could include:* Processing payroll end to end on varying frequencies, including circa 300 mainly monthly and some weekly payrolls, alongside 2 other part-time payrollers* General bookkeeping responsibilities using cloud software (Xero, Sage or Excel)* Preparation of VAT returnsSalary will of course depend on experience and the firm are determined to keep on open mind on salary, as getting the right person is more important.To a degree, they can shape the role around the right applicant. The job would suit someone seeking a stable and long-term position, ideally working full-time, but part-time will also be considered.This firm would like to take on an all-rounder using online systems like Xero, Sage and Excel.
