Job Description

We are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to join a family run engineering company with a workshop in Matlock. They serve customers in the UK and Worldwide - specialising in design and machining from prototype and small batch work to large quantityorders.Location: MatlockPay Rate: £16p/h (~£33,280per annum) + £125 Travel Allowance per month Hours: Mon-Fri, 7am-3pmCurrently they are looking for a CNC Programmer to join their busy team; they are looking for a time served machinist who have good experience and programming skillsKey Skills:

  • Be an experienced CNC Router Programmer and Operator
  • Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Programme the CNC
  • Be able to load up programs for manufacturing
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities, where efficiency and quality is key
  • Must have a good eye for detail
  • Be able to work on own initiative as well as work with the whole team
  • Require excellent time management and organisational skill
  • You will need to have a "can-do" attitude and support the evolving and changing needs of the business
  • Work with and supper other departments to ensure business objectives are achieved
  • Willingness to help others in the workshop
  • Promote a safe working environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Other duties as may be required
  • Ideally served an apprenticeship as a centre lathe turner and miller with a number of years of experience
