Job Description

Are you aanalytical thinking with a knack for numbers Look no further, because we have the perfect role for you!A fantastic role has arisen for a pricing specialist to join the purchasing and supply chain department of a growing parts and spares distribution business.This is a strategic role with a large amount of data exposure.So this role is needing someone who is an analytical thinker, with very good Excel skills and the ability to do stock profiling and forecasting.Salary: Circa £30KHybrid working: 3 days a week in the office23 days holiday + 8 bank holidaysHealthcare schemesDiscounts on all products and retail discountsPlenty of staff support services including, counselling and learning management systemWhat You’ll Do:

  • Maintain and manage our intricate pricing structures to ensure our margins are as robust as a bank vault.
  • Scrutinize price files and supplier increases with the precision of a diamond cutter to maximize our margin.
  • Load new lines from price files with the agility of a circus juggler.
  • Handle price discrepancies with the finesse of a diplomat to protect our precious margin.
  • Apply carriage and packaging charges with the accuracy of a Swiss watchmaker.
  • Oversee our parts database to ensure pricing accuracy that would make a librarian proud.
  • Assign correct pricing profiles with the attention to detail of an art curator.
  • Tackle incorrect pricing inflates with the strategy of a chess grandmaster.
  • Identify and eliminate zero FIFO lines like a seasoned detective.
  • Ensure reporting and processes are as timely as a punctual postman.
  • Assist in the implementation and development of Microsoft AX like a tech guru.
