Job Description

Role - Team LeaderLocationMarshfield, CardiffSalary£22,709.05 to £24,592.75 based on 42 hours per week (days, nights and weekends)Are you looking for a new challenge and the opportunity for career development We have an exciting opportunity in Cardiff for an experienced Team Leader to join our residential home in Marshfield, Cardiff. Where you will support individuals with complex needsassociated with autism.You will be assisting in the day to day management of the home and help continue to improve the lives of the individuals we support. You will play a vital role in both the home and wider organisation, acting as a positive role model to both staff and our supportedindividuals.Our passion is making a difference and our focus is to strengthen interests and aspirations by offering a holistic, engaging, and person-centred environment. To do well in this role, youll need to have a passion for supporting individuals to live as fulfilledand independent lives as possible and every day you will make a difference to the lives of people we support.A day in the life of a Team Leader with Orbis Education and Care Involves:

  • Act as shift leader
  • Assist in ensuringservice scouring standards are maintained.
  • Participating in the on-call rota.
  • Assist in reporting and evidence gathering activities.
  • Work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in assessment, development and review of support and care plans.
  • Promote and celebrate homes achievements
To be a successful Team Leader with Orbis Education and Care, youll need:
  • Experience in a support environment.
  • OCF level 3 qualified.
  • Knowledge of statutory regulations.
  • Lead by example and always act as a positive role model.
  • Upload company policies and standards.
  • Able to understand and adhere to relevant safeguarding.
  • Good awareness of conducting Health and Safety risk assessments.
