Job Description

Role: Stores PersonLocation: CardiffHours: 40 Per week - 8am - 4:30pm - Monday to Thurs - 7am - 3:30pm FriOvertime Available: 1.5x after 40 hoursSalary: £26,000 - £31,000Berry Recruitment are delighted to have partnered with a leading aluminium company in Cardiff on their latest stores person vacancy, they are looking for a candidate ideally from a manufacturing background to work at their site on a Full Time, Permanentbasis.Stores Person - Duties

  • Receive, check and store deliveries
  • Reporting of shortages
  • Organise stock to an acceptable manner
  • Stock check and quantify existing stock
  • Complete inventory audits on a regular basis
  • Maintain stock in / stock out reports.
  • Pick / prepare materials in advance from material lists for factory and site.
  • Keep buyer up to date
Stores Person - The ideal candidate
  • A background in manufacturing would be advantageous
  • Computer Literacy - Essential
  • Fork lift license - Counterbalance/ Side loader - advantageous but not essential
  • Highly Organised
  • Methodical
