Job Description

Oliver Marks Consulting are currently representing a client looking to add a further engineer to the team. This role will require you to assist external clients with hardware/software issues. The company have a strong client base and extensive support contracts as well as project work. To be considered for the role you will need to have experience with the following:

Troubleshooting desktops/laptops

Troubleshooting basic network issues

undertaking small to medium sized IT Change management projects

diagnosing and resolving issues

Ticket management and CRM usage

Liaising with 3rd party vendors

Customer relationship building

Excellent customer service skills

Technologies you will have experience include the following;

Windows 7-10

Office 365

Any SharePoint or exchange experience would be desirable but not essential

Office 2013-2019

Network/Infrastructure - LAN/WAN/WIFI, TCIP/IP, DNS, DHCP, AD

Network printers

Firewalls and antivirus knowledge

Any Apple/iOS would be advantageous

Other technologies that you would gain exposure to include;

Linux

Switch configuration

SAGE

Mac OS

VoIP telephony systems

SQL Server

As you can see, this is a tech heavy role. In addition to the above, you will need to have a clean driving licence and access to a vehicle given the office location. You will also have the opportunity to go on client visits. Required skills
