Over time, this will become a flagship offering, so the opportunity to build the team from scratch and be part of something huge is definitely something to be interested in.With your priority being to build a new team, as an experienced SoftwareEngineering Manager you will need to define and drive this new product from the ground up. Responsible for managing and leading a team of engineers - developers, QA, and DevOps - you should have previous experience with leading a team, and should feel comfortable taking charge.You should be able to design and build a new platform from scratch, and have previous experience building and delivering a SaaS product to help you do so. This product will be operating at scale, through several iterations, so experience with this is beneficial.Not only should you be able to do the above - build up a team and develop a brand new product - you should be able to leverage strengths of individual team members and effectively resolve conflicts/disputes.
