Job Description

Production ManagerMaidenhead £70,000 + benefits Hybrid Role Profile: As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for orchestrating and optimizing our logistics activities, ensuring efficient transportation, procurement, warehousing, and distribution of our chemical products. Your role will play a vital part in maintainingour commitment to quality, safety, and timely delivery to our customers. You will ensure compliance with global chemical and ADR regulations.This company is a leading player in the chemical manufacturing industry, dedicated to producing high-quality products that cater to diverse industrial needs. We are seeking a proficient Production Manager to join our dynamic team and oversee the seamlessmovement of chemical materials, products, and information within our supply chain operations.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize transportation networks to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of products.
  • Manage compliance of ADR regulations for the road transportation of dangerous goods, ensuring the safe and legal transport of chemical products.
  • A strong focus on REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals).
  • Evaluate the feasibility and benefits of establishing chemical blending facilities in key regions.
  • Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory management and storage optimization.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to enhance efficiency and minimize operational costs.
  • Monitor and analyse logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards in all logistics activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and resolve logistics-related issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in logistics processes and systems.
