Job Description

Accountant - Swedish speaking We are currently recruiting for a Swedish speaking Accountant to work for an exciting leading medical company who are growing with a range of highly innovative health care products. They have a global presence and distributors scoping worldwide.The role is working for the business in Sweden and responsible for the recording accounting operations of the company. You will participate in the preparation of summary documents: income statements, account balances, operating or profit and loss accounts,balance sheets, and in monitoring monthly commercial reporting in this area.Duties include:

  • Maintain general and cost accounting records, make any necessary adjusting entries; reconcile and circularise the entire balance sheet on a monthly basis.
  • Participate in the preparation of closing files and presentations to third parties (statutory auditors, inspectors, auditors, etc.) in compliance with European legislation and standards.
  • You must comply with European and international VAT rules, including analytic assignments, by processing all the companys taxes on time (VAT, DEB, DES, TVTS), accounting for them and making payments.
  • Participate in the preparation of annual tax returns for each branch.
  • Ensure the archiving and conservation of related documents and information (claims, supporting documents).
  • Prepare, control and ensure payment of third parties (suppliers, States, Personnel...) in compliance with deadlines. You will enter bank transactions for all payments, and circularise supplier sub accounts.
  • You will be the main contact for suppliers and employees.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Accounting & Tax, a good level of Excel and familiar with SAP. Experience of Swedish Accountancy and Taxation regulations would be required.
