GEODIS designs and delivers tailored supply chain management solutions to overcome its customers logistical challenges whatever theircomplexity.We are looking for a Stock Manager to organize and monitor inventory levels to maximize efficiency. This position is instrumental to the distribution of products, record stock level accurately, report to site management and the customer. They will scheduleemployee shifts to ensure full coverage and assist with the training of the team to ensure a smooth process.Duties include:Coordinates daily activity with the Operations ManagerSupervises and directs work executing activities including but not limited to - order fulfilment, outbound, inbound and value add activity Communicate and reacts quickly and effectively regarding unexpected labour needsManage labour hours for the stock team, procedures and processes updated Interview and train prospective new team members; completes appraisals Ensure all subordinate staff understand performance targets and KPI and clearly outlines what is expected Deal with complaints quickly and addresses internal and external stakeholder needs promptly Drive innovation and recommend process improvement Review records to ensure accuracy and compliance (where applicable) Comply with all company policies and procedures Complete RCAs to establish reasons for discrepancies and suggests mitigating or preventative measures. Monitor and ensures KPIs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner Assign duties to subordinate staff and monitors for neatness and conformance to standards set out in SOPs Work with management team to ensure ISO / HMRC / SMS / HSE compliance Prepare reports for leadership Assist in maintaining physical properties, promotes and ensures a clean and safe work environmentPromote the company in a positive and ethical manner
