Job Description

Would you like an opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment, with a varied and challenging workload and the opportunity to learn new skillsOur client is seeking a highly organised and efficient Office Assistant to join our team on the outskirts of Cambridge. You will be the right hand to our busy staff, providing essential administrative and logistical support to keep the office running smoothly.   • Answering and redirecting phone calls,greeting visitors,and taking messages.
  • Manage email communication,including composing and sending emails,scheduling meetings,and maintaining calendars.
  • Proactively inform staff of important updates and deadlines.
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment,ensuring smooth operation.
  • Process invoices,manage travel arrangements,and book meeting rooms.
  • File and organize documents efficiently using digital and physical systems.
  • Prepare presentations and reports as needed.
  • Assist with event planning and organisation.
  • Maintain a clean and professional office environment.
As the Office Assistant you will have:
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,with the ability to interact with staff at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word,Excel,PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Positive attitude,initiative,and willingness to learn.
  • Experience in an office environment.
  • Proficiency in additional languages.
  • Project management skills.
  • Creativity and problem-solving abilities.
