Job Description

Are you SC or DV Cleared and an experienced 2nd Line Support Engineer Then read as we need you NOW!Location: Offices in Lympstone & DartmouthAre you looking for a career in IT that will provide training and skills in a dynamic environment Can you work as a team to provide support enabling continued service to our customers Do you want to be proud to work for a company that respects its peopleand is at the forefront of technology We are looking to grow our team with committed people to provide support for our customers across the region.We are looking for a 2nd line engineer to join our client (A Global Technology company) to provide technical infrastructure support within a dynamic and fast paced environment. Initially based in London and moving to the Hampshire area (M3 Corridor) theideal candidate will have a proven track record of supporting Infrastructure applications, ideally within a secure environment.The role will involve supporting internal / external customers, providing solutions and fixe; Investigating reported failures for delivery and working with 3rd line technical support staff and therefore ensuring disruption to the service is kept to a minimumand within service level agreements.Core SkillsKnowledge of the following would be advantageous:

  • Windows Servers/WorkstationsIncident Response Management
  • Windows SharePoint
  • Internet and Information Services (IIS)
  • Windows Active Directory
  • Networking
  • VMware
Flexibility on working hours will be required with the possibility of moving to a shift work pattern 0700-1530 or 1030-1900 with 1 hour lunch.This is a 6 month Contract role which has been deemed inside IR35.Please note that due to the amount of applications, we can only respond to those which have skills and experience matching the requirements.
