Are you an experienced Stores/Warehouse SupervisorAre you looking for a role that you can really make your own and bring your ideas for process improvementsIf you answered YES, then we have the role for you…I am on the lookout for a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse/Stores Supervisor to play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of my clients’ store, ensuring efficiency and accuracy amongst a small team.The who, what, where…Our client is an extremely successful engineering services company, who currently require a Stores Supervisor to join their Birmingham store on a permanent, full-time basis.Hours are Monday-Friday, 7am-4:30pm, on-site.What you’ll be doing:

Supervising a small team of 3, monitoring daily activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space organisation, logistics, productivity, shipping, waste management, and customer service.
Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery, and oversee general maintenance when necessary.
Oversee logistics for transporting products to engineers, customers, and company facilities.
Serve as a key holder, opening the site in the morning.

Skills and experience required/desired:

2+ years’ experience in a Store/Warehouse supervisory/team leader role is desirable.
Full UK drivers’ licence is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities.
Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
A good understanding of English and Maths.
Basic knowledge of Excel spreadsheets.
Ability to challenge when necessary and lead by example.
