Full time Permanent role - School ideally looking for a Teacher of the Deaf but an experienced SEN Teacher would be considered also. The school supports pupils who are on the Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC), have Moderate Learning Difficulties and have Moderate Speech and Language, Communication and Language Difficulties,or difficulties with Sensory Regulation.The school has an established and very successful reputation. The successful candidate will be an outstanding, inclusive practitioner with recent experience of teaching both Key Stages 1 and Key Stage 2 including planning, delivering, and assessing bespokecreative teaching programmes within the expectations of the National Curriculum.Responsible to the Head Teacher, the Primary Teacher will have responsibility for devising and teaching the curriculum and assessing and reporting pupil progress. High expectations of their pupils and a proven ability to use positive behaviour managementstrategies effectively to support pupils with challenging behaviour.Knowledge and experience of working with pupils with SEMH, ASC, SpLD, MLD and Trauma and Attachment are an advantage.
