As a business they pride themselves on handling all claims inhouse, and to support the ongoing growth with the friendly teamRole:Responsible for handling Property, Fleet, Personal lines, and Liability claimsProvide clients with professional advice and ensure that high levels of customer service are provided at all timesHandle claims from first notification of loss through to settlementManage claims independently, manage expectations and negotiate to achieve best possible outcomesRecording and updating of claims dataMaintaining a robust diary systemLiaising with clients on commercial and personal lines basisLiaising with Insurers, Loss Adjusters, Engineers, Solicitors, third party representativesAuthorising claim payments under delegated authority on behalf of different InsurersLiaising internally to provide feedback/MI on claims issuesUndertaking applicable professional, technical and career development trainingComplying with external and internal regulatory and statutory policies, procedures and regulations.Experience / skills - essentialExperience in handling a broad range of claims (5+ years preferable)Excellent communication skillsNegotiating and influencing skillsIT skills particularly ExcelBe organised and have good time managementBe able to work to deadlinesExperience / skills - desirableExperience working at a BrokerExperience with scheme claims including binder procedures and bordereaux managementActurisPI, D&O, Cyber claims handlingOffice hours - Mon to Fri, can be a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days from homeUp to 27 days holiday plus statutory bank holidaysIf you have the experience we are looking for, please apply with a CV and well be in touch to discuss the opportunity in more detail.
