Job Description

About the opportunity:We are the internal recruitment partner for our client, a highly successful family-owned manufacturing business based in Bradford.We are presenting an exciting opportunity for a highly knowledgeable and proactive HR Advisor to join their friendly and supportive team.As a HR Advisor, you will take ownership of all administrative tasks related to the HR function, as well as providing advice and guidance on a wide range of employment matters, including HR policies, employee relations, and recruitment.Other key focuses of the role will involve HR compliance, coordination of onboarding activities and the management and modernisation of the holiday and attendance system.Working closely with line managers and employees, you will utilise your natural problem-solving skills to resolve workplace issues and promote a positive and productive environment.An understanding of UK employment law and HR procedures is a must, along with the confidence to positively challenge line managers and encourage best practices to minimise business risk.This is a fantastic opportunity to develop in your HR career with the support and mentoring of the highly experienced and dedicated HR team at Vero HR, their trusted HR outsourcing partner.RequirementsThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Proven experience in HR administration and employee relations, ideally within the manufacturing or logistics sector.
  • An understanding of UK employment law and its practical application.
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with all levels of personnel and different personality types.
  • A pragmatic and business-centric outlook.
  • A highly organised and accurate work style.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A natural problem-solver who demonstrates initiative.
  • Strong IT skills.
