Morpheus are proud to be working with one of the leading insurance companies in the UK.SummaryThe Operational Excellence team supports all areas across the company in designing and delivering change that maximises business benefit in the most cost-effective way.We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior OPEX Practitioner to support the delivery of our clients end-to-end business reviews in support of our journey to Lean management principles in line with our 2021 strategy.Knowledgeable and skilled in the use of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools, you will be using your project management expertise to support the identification and delivery of effective business change and embed process management techniques throughoutthe company.Your communication, coaching and influencing skills coupled with your technical ability based around Lean Management and Six Sigma will enable you to provide clear visions and direction for operational teams, using reasoned, logical approaches to facilitatechange, gain buy-in and lead subject matter experts to deliver substantial bottom-line benefits through understanding customer and business needs and improving the performance of processes to deliver them.Your Key Accountabilities will be to:

• Utilise technical skills (Lean and Six Sigma techniques) to identify waste and root causes of defects/inefficiency leading to the creation of project charter to include, problem statements, scope, value and business relevance/opportunity
• Build and maintain good business knowledge and stakeholder relationships in each functional area - Understand and apply financial modelling (costs and benefits) techniques to create demand for change and delivery of agreed benefits
• Facilitate workshops around the current state, problem-solving, identification of data-led analysis to include co-ordinating idea generation methods, to identify, consider and prioritise options to address issues
• Act as a business advocate (in an agile sense) to ensure change plans/activity meets the business need
• Collate relevant data, leading to analysis and fact-based decision making through SPC, Hypothesis testing and RTY
• Support in the building of Continuous Improvement capability across various insurance business areas, mentor new trainees and support individuals project delivery
• Provide advice and support to the business area on implementation including pilots as appropriate
• Own the problem/opportunity from pre-define through to embedding the solution and replication.

• Lean Sigma Green belt/Lean Practitioner accredited
• Strong analytical techniques and quantitative skills
• Ability to work on own initiative or part of a team
• Good decision-making ability
• Good communication/facilitation & influencing skills.
• Proficient use of MS office and Sigma XL/Minitab analytical software
• Ability to represent the company Commercial internally & externally
• Awareness of market trends in insurance
• Good awareness of project management disciplines and the end-to-end project lifecycle
• Strong customer focus
