Job Description

Job Purpose Keoghs, the Legal Solutions Division of the Davies Group, are looking to hire a Rate Analyst to report to the Billing ManagerThis is new role within the large Billing Team and will be key to the maintenance of accurate charge out rates for the business and the monitoring and reporting of Work in Progress balances . The role will be varied and will give an enthusiastic individualthe opportunity to gain a full understanding of the organisation and to develop and provide MI on rate, WIP and billing issues to the business.The role will also include some elements of billing and identification and resolution of issues.Key Accountabilities

  • Inputting and managing of new rates in the Finance system
  • Maintenance and provision of accurate rate information to parent company
  • Review of existing pricing in system
  • Weekly WIP reporting for to the Operational Teams and Senior Management
  • Revaluing Work in Progress
  • Support in loading of invoices into Client portals
  • Assistance in chasing billing queries with the Operational Teams
  • General Backup support for the billing activities of the business
  • Provision of ad hoc reporting
Working Hours 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch. Will be required to be available to attend the Bolton OfficeEssential Skills and Attributes:
  • A good level of IT literacy including proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Although a Finance background is not essential the successful candidate will be confident with number and be used to dealing with complex data and processes.
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Analytical skills
