Job Description

Product Owner - FTCJob PurposeAre you a Product Owner with the ability to deliver value for our clients Could you be responsible for your own product backlog As a Product Owner, you will work within an Agile Scrum team and get to know our clients’ roles, needs, pressures and measuresof success, to identify how creative products can help them to get their work done.If having a positive culture matters to you, as a member of the Keoghs IT department, you will engage with a great team who love innovative technologies.   • You will be a key decision maker, working closely with the senior leaders and key team members to craft and deliver stories that help us to achieve our aims and objectives.
  • You will own your own backlog, agree priorities, and ensure that the backlog is ordered correctly.
  • You will take an active role in assisting the senior leaders with the product/service life cycle - involved in planning, process design, deployment, and benefits realization.
  • You will work closely with key team members to understand required changes, facilitate communication between the team and the other interested parties and ensure the team is directed to work on the most cost-effective tasks.
  • Create user stories to breakdown features and epics into end-to-end functionality
  • Create user story acceptance criteria using the Given-When-Then Gherkin format
  • Work with the team to develop UI/UX wireframes and prototypes, ensuring a user centered design approach
Working Hours35 hours per week Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch. Primary location for this role is home workingExperience, Skills and QualificationsEssential Skills and Attributes:
  • You will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic that can work with limited supervision.
  • You should have a strong client focus and consistent track record of delivering to user needs
  • You will need to be a skilled problem solver; a key requirement for this role is being able to deconstruct problems into constituent parts to come to the best solution.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are also a requirement.
  • Being focused and accurate, you will need to have a data driven approach to feature development
  • You should have experience of user centered design and have a keen interest in UI design and user experience
  • You will have an open and expansive approach, willing and able to interact internally and externally and at all levels within the company.
  • You will show a highly committed attitude.
