Job Description

Deputy Team Leader - File Opening TeamJob PurposeWorking as part of a fast paced Business Unit, whose aims and goals are:• To work harder and smarter• To ensure all within the unit feel valued and appreciated• To maintain speed and serviceThe Deputy Team Leader needs to focus on assisting the Team Leader in delivering results in line with agreed KPI’s and service standards, whilst creating a positive and friendly working environment, motivating all team members to give their best.Key Accountabilities• Ensure that they, and their team, always act in line with the Data Protection Act, To ensure compliance with the SRA Standards & Regulations, and the Lexcel Manual• Ensuring that they, and their team, achieve their objectives• Deputising for the Team Leader in their absence• Assisting the Team Leader with assessing the team’s workload, and implementing action plans to ensure SLA’s are met• Preparing training materials and providing training to new and existing team members as required• Providing assistance with the tasks within their team as required to maintain SLA’s• Promptly and professionally dealing with queries received within the team, and internally within Keoghs• Supporting the Team Leader to ensure that the work completed is at the correct standard and seek feedback from customers of the service to validate the quality• Conducting 1-2-1 review meetings when needed• Collate appropriate Management Information and assist the Team Leader in producing appropriate reports• Supporting the Team Leader to ensure the appropriate use of the IRF process to highlight and correct areas for improvement• Working with the Team Leader to ensure that their team is aware of, and follows, all the appropriate policies and proceduresResponsibilities are the likely to increase as confidence of the individual grows in order to help progress onto the next available role.Working Hours35 hours per week Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch.
