Job Description

Are you interested in working in Finance Do you have experience working in a similar role or a background of dealing with processing bills If so Keoghs are looking for a Billing Assistant to join their Billing Team to assist the Billing Team Leader toensure that a timely and accurate service is provided at all times to both internal and external customers.Keoghs is one of the leading providers of claims-related services to insurers, businesses and other suppliers to the insurance sector. Thisenables us to create individual solutions for each of our clients that match their requirements in terms of quality, performance and value for money.This role is a hybrid role and will be based in our Bolton Office.Key Accountabilities:The role consists of the despatch of bills to our clients using a variety of methods, email, post, client portals. You will be producing and issuing various client bordereaux reports and dealing with queries arising from this. The position includes the controlof advance billing for various clients. You will also be at times, assisting with bill amendments, triggering of final bills. The role also includes manual updating the system and processing fixed fee bills. You will need to ensure that bills are generatedpromptly in line with client guidelines, investigate reasons for any bill discrepancies and take such steps to reduce the cause of such errors. The position will require you to provide cover for other team members from time to time. You will liaise with ourfee earning community and other members of Keoghs staff, ensuring all tasks are carried out effectively and to a high standard.Experience, Skills and Attributes:IT literate including excel and other Microsoft Office applicationsAttention to detailProfessional manner and good communication skills.
