Job Description

Project Manager RoleCheshireWith a CEO who successfully pitched our business on the very well-known show Dragons Den, our ambitious, global company is currently looking to add to our existing Project team, in order to contribute to our exciting growth plans!This role will require a detail-oriented individual that will manage the delivery of multiple consumer goods and business projects to support our extremely rapid business growth.The main duties of this role entail:

  • Ensuring that the delivery of Projects meet safety, regulatory, scope, cost, schedule and Business benefits objectives..
  • Also you will communicate strategy, objectives and benefits to the business whilst implementing the organisational strategy to achieve highest business benefit.
  • Morse so, you would have the responsibility for engineering resource and ensuring capability assigned to deliver capital projects are technically fit for purpose and meet statutory requirement.
  • You will drive projects from beginning to end ensuring they are delivered on time, in full, within budget and to the agreed quality standards.
  • Assisting the development of our business change roadmap, making sure budgets and timeframes are allocated.
  • Effectively managing multiple projects and being able to change their priorities, defining project scope, key deliverables, and measures of success.
  • Regularly communicating project updates internally, ensuring that all of the key documents are completed, ready for internal stakeholders to sign off. Highlighting any key risks, issues, or dependencies.
  • Effectively influencing all the key stakeholders in order to define clear concise business requirements, changing communication styles to adapt to the audience to maximise outputs.
  • Reviewing, developing and constantly refining the business Processes and planning their delivery/deployment.
  • Managing internal project activity across several functions
  • Make day-to-day decisions on activities to ensure that the project delivery is heading in a successful direction - escalate any issues as appropriate.

Our ideal Candidate:
  • An individual who has experience across the entire project lifecycle from concept development to hand-over
  • Experience within an FMCG SME environment would be quite advantageous, however not required
  • Experience of MSP
  • Skills in using Excel and VISIO are required.
  • Experience of managing engineering projects for NPD and machinery from concept to implementation, this is not essential but would be desirable
