We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join our team, based in our Surrey office in Chertsey (KT16). *Due to the location, driving is essential*Apply below after reading through all the details and supporting information regarding this job opportunity.Responsibilities: Accurately process a high volume of manual timesheets each weekProvide support in resolving payroll queries from clients, both internal and external in a polite and confident manner. Assist in the inputting and processing of all relevant data required for the PayrollUpdate payroll records as appropriateEnsure all relevant statutory requirements are metAnswer queries on all aspects of payroll, escalating where appropriateAssistin ensuring all processes and procedures are adhered to, and deadlines are metDealing with candidate and clients PAYE / Umbrella / CIS questionsEnsure a culture of effective working relationships and close collaboration and communication is developedand maintained across all teamsEnsuring a timely and accurate processing of weekly payrollVerifying any new Contractors who operate as Self Employed on the HMRC gatewayWeekly permanent placements invoicingThe ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate existing payroll knowledge of the UK market and work well to strict deadlines with excellent attention to detail
