Heating Engineer - Service, Breakdown & Repair£Competitive SalaryLong Stratton, Norwich, Norfolk (Working throughout Norfolk)Permanent, Full TimeWe have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Heating Service Engineer to join our in-house heating team, to carry out servicing, breakdown and repairs of all heating systems and associated works to Saffrons housing stock and ensuring that complianceis achieved with regards to the heating servicing programme. Working Hours - 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday) 7.30am to 15.30pm On Call Standby - £130 per week Call Out Rate - paid at time and a half (double time for Bank Holidays) Holidays - 23 days (increases to 28 days after 5 years service) and an additional 3 days per annum plus all Public and Bank Holidays Aviva Workplace Defined Contribution Pension Scheme Private Healthcare via Vitality Shopping Discounts Access to an Employee Assistance Programme Salary Sacrifice Car SchemeKey responsibilities include: Undertaking all servicing, breakdown, and repairs of heating systems to maintain all systems owned by Saffron or those they have an interest in. Carry out the heating service programme, as instructed. Undertake any upgrades within Saffrons heating improvement programmes, as required. Ensuring the safety and security of Saffrons tenants and properties by participating on the out of hours call out rota, as required.Please see the full list of responsibilities on the Role Profile attached.Our ideal candidate will have: Relevant experience and knowledge in all types of domestic heating. Experience of working in both occupied and unoccupied properties and on occasions in extreme temperatures and conditions due to seasonal weather conditions. Recognised domestic qualifications including:o CCN1o CEN1o HTR1o CPA1o DAH1o UHWSSo WAT1o Renewables Additional heating qualifications would be desirable e.g. OFTEC (Oil). A willingness to gain new skills and knowledge by undertaking training and additional qualifications for future developments within the heating industry. Ability to use a mobile device (mobile phone/tablet) to manage workload, send and receive emails, access apps to order stock and MS Teams for meetings / training. Ability to participate on the out of hours call out rota.
