Job Description

Climbing Arborist / Grounds Maintenance OperativeLong Stratton, Norwich, Norfolk£22,196.93 per annum plus Positive Future BonusFull Time, 37.5 hours per week (Seasonal Working Hours)Our client currently has an opportunity for a Climbing Arborist / Grounds Maintenance Operative to join their Grounds Maintenance team to provide general Arboricultural and Grounds Maintenance services.Your main duties as Climbing Arborist / Grounds Maintenance Operative will include but not limited to:

  • Carry out ground based and Ariel arboriculture tasks.
  • Carry out all relevant ground works e.g. grass cutting, hedge trimming etc on all areas maintained by Saffron.
    • All work within this role will be carried out in accordance with current best practice and health & safety legislation, as well as ensuring the correct operation of all equipment and tools supplied.To fulfil this role you will be required to have relevant experience within an arboricultural and grounds maintenance environment, and hold a recognised horticultural and arboricultural qualification. Plus also hold either a current NPTC 201, 202, 203, 206, 306, 307 & 309 or previous NPTC CS30, CS31, CS38, CS39, CS40 & CS41, or equivalent.You will also require a full driving licence, to include the facility to tow twin axle trailers over 750kg, is essential.This role is based from Long Stratton but working throughout South Norfolk and surrounding areas.If this role is of interest to you and you have the skills and experience required, please click on the Apply Now button!Closing Date: 27th July 2020Interviews will take place on Wednesday 12th August 2020 using Microsoft Teams.
