Job Description

Business Support Assistant Are you friendly and reliable. Are you proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel.My client based twenty minutes south of Norwich are looking for a Business Support Assistant to join their existing experienced and established team.Reporting to the Founders Executive Support Assistant this role requires an organised, energetic flexible individual who is a strong team player, you will cover a wide array of tasks and responsibilitiesAs part of a team of four based in the UK and Malta you will be responsible for providing support in the production of monthly information for the use in e-marketing communications to clients and third party information providers:-

  • including the preparation of standardised and bespoke content
  • maintenance of distribution lists for e-marketing including uploading contact data sets into campaign managers for monthly and ad hoc campaigns as required
  • checking outbound e-marketing campaigns for accuracy and content
  • proof reading documents for accuracy and consistency
  • producing and maintaining accurate and timely Reports and Marketing Documents via MS PowerPoint, MS Excel/Access, MSWord
  • liaising with internal and external contacts to ensure appropriate sign off is obtained for information
The role will require you to
  • analyse and report on activity relating to Marketing Campaigns including open rates and Website traffic and have input into recommendations for improvements or change.
  • arrange, attend and minute (where required) regular internal and from time to time external conference calls, weekly / monthly sales calls
  • create, circulate, maintaining and follow up project/action lists
  • work in shared mailboxes / and activity planners to ensure support is provided to colleagues to deliver consistent categorisation and turnaround time on activities
  • contribute to the maintenance of the centralised electronic Library of information (via MS SharePoint) including where required coordinating the updating of documentation to ensure accurate and timely delivery of accurate information, whilst maintaininga secure archive library.
  • Provide absence cover for diary management
  • Completing any ad-hoc projects/tasks when required
Skills/AttributesYou must be a team player, with high attention to detail, the ability to work effectively under pressure, to tight deadlines and to deal with competing priorities.You must be calm, level-headed with a good sense of humour, always operating with integrity.
  • Office 365 suite of tools, particularly Powerpoint, Excel, Teams and SharePoint
  • Managing and manipulating data to undertake research and reports
  • Strong A levels and Maths and English GCSE or equivalent qualification Office 365 suite of tools, particularly Powerpoint, Excel, Teams and SharePoint
  • A desire to learn
