Job Description

Business Analyst - Change / Business TransformationLocation: Long Stratton, Norwich, NorfolkSalary: £40,000 per annumFull TimePermanentThe VacancyWe now have an excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst to provide analysis and insight leading on data related activities and projects as part of the Positive Futures Transformation strategy for Saffron.Whilst a significant part of the role will be on analysis, insight and leading on data related activities you will also be leading on Projects and Lean Reviews that are not solely focused on data.You will work closely with key stakeholders in translating the needs of the business to enable delivery of successful business change, working on multiple projects as part of a team in a complex transformational programme.Key responsibilities include:

  • Utilising Lean techniques, you will have a structured approach to problem definition, be able to measure the current situation in a specific business area, analyse issues and their root causes, define and evaluate improvement initiatives and implement selected solutions.
  • Organising and leading project team meetings, allocating actions and updating project plans
  • Leading change implementation activities, providing steering and guidance to teams and regular updates to stakeholders
  • Identifying risks, issues and discrepancies and acting accordingly.
  • Identifying, managing and coordinating the resolution of data quality issues.
  • Leading end to end process redesign including facilitating Value stream mapping workshops, evaluating requirements for supporting systems, piloting potential solutions and developing Implementation plans.

  • Has experience of feeding into the development of a Data Strategy
  • Can identify the tools and agents that collect data, the software systems and physical storage media that store it, the network that transfers it, the application environments that host the analytics tools that analyze it and the backup or archive infrastructure that backs it up.
  • Can detail the current and desired end-to end states of system structures, business roles and processes that create and use business data
  • Well developed, proven change management skills, highly adaptable with the ability to engage and work with a range of stakeholders to achieve outcomes and deliverables
