Events range from large scale expo style events through to promotional road shows, experiential events, conferences,launch events, exhibitions and everything in-between.THE ROLEDue to continued growth there is now an opportunity for an Account Director to come on board and focus on the development of existing clients within the UK market. A broad role responsibilities will include:•Responsibility for growing and developing accounts•Maximising opportunities and profitability across existing accounts•Identifying opportunities and developing revenue across a range of projects•Working closely with global account leadership and cross-functional teams•Consulting with clients and generating solutions for their objectives•Leading the planning and development of relationships with key stakeholders•Overseeing the execution of projects and ensuring agency output adheres to client objectives and timescales•Develop inter-agency relationships with representatives from key agenciesTHE CANDIDATECandidates must have a proven background of managing and developing accounts, ideally gained from working for an event, creative or marketing agency, although other backgrounds will be considered. Exposure to complex projects and events is essential as isan understanding of how events fit within multi-channel marketing campaign. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a proven ability to increase client spent across accounts and a identify opportunities for new business and networking across accounts.
