Job Description

Sports Mentor NeededSecondary school located in Newport£70.00 per day 08:1515:00Position to startASAP Teaching Personnel are actively looking to recruit a sports mentor to support a secondary school in Newport. The school are looking for a sports mentor that can work full-time and start ASAP. You will receive a daily rate of £70 per day.Our secondary school are currently seeking someone who can work with a year 7 pupil who is struggling to engage with his peers and get on with his work. The school have identified that sport would be the best form of engagement for this student as they havekeen interest and respond well to any physical education lessons.Your role will consist of being a supportive and influential Teaching Assistant/Mentor. You will work with the child on a 1 to 1 basis and assist with the learning and well being of the pupil. Through support and mentoring you will encourage and guide thechilds learning in the right direction.The school has a big emphasis on sport and are looking for someone who shares that passion. The school is equipped with outdoor and indoor sports facilities which you can use to assist with the child development.
