REED EducationCardiffare currently recruitingforaexperiencedSEN TeachingAssistant tostart ASAP,with ourclientwhoprovidesstateeducation to primary aged pupils with Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD).The school isbased on the outskirts of Caerphilly/Cardiff, and the role is full time, Monday to Friday 830 – 1530.Pupils with SEBD cansometimesdisplayvery challenging behaviour(physical and verbal).The successful candidate for this post, will hopefullyhold avalid Team Teach qualification which will help them to respond to challenging issues inthesame holistic way the school itself would.If the successful candidate does not have in date Team Teach training, they can be taught by the school or Reed Education themselves (depending on which course happens quickest).It is worth noting that even though working in an SEBD environment can bequitechallengingat times, it can also beextremelyrewarding too. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who can see past the behaviour, understand why it happens, and work with the child to help them better manage their emotions.
