The Business Development Manager will be someone who is a sales professional from a technical background with knowledge in the manufacturing or utilities industry. The role will be fully remote and can be based anywhere in the UK, however occasional trips to Wales may be required.Role– Business Development ManagerHours– 40 hours per week – Monday to FridayLocation– Remote with occasional travel to Head Office just outside of SwanseaSalary– £28k with an OTE of £50k with a company car/car allowanceThis role will be joining the Sales department, reporting into the Sales Director and is a bespoke role within the business. In the role the primary focus will be on new business development and growing the client base. Additionally, you will promote the company, its products, and services to its best advantage, whilst driving the business forward. You will be responsible for maximising sales opportunities, bystrategically conductingmarket research and product knowledge within the marketplace and beyond. Identifying new business opportunities, producing proposals for new business wins. Meeting clients and selling the companies services.To be successful, you will have experience within Business Development or similar role, ideally within construction, manufacturing or utilities, with a proven track record. Additionally, you will be a strategic thinker with excellent working knowledge with IT & data analysis, and exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Will be highly motivated and driven to succeed, be commercially astute and possess outstanding negotiation skills. Work on your own initiative to tight deadlines, whilst ensuring attention to detail and accuracy.
