To make that a reality we need an experienced and passionate building professional who is able to bring their very best to some of the best properties in Wales.We are looking for a Senior Building Surveyor seeking new challenges and development, wholl want to bring their technical brilliance and project management skills to the conservation and maintenance of this important portfolio.We have one of the largest and most diverse rural let estates in the UK. We are looking for someone who can provide delivery, management and facilitation of all aspects of technical Building Surveying in Let Estate, including conservation, maintenance and compliance. The successful management of the Let Estate will rely on significant input from the Building Surveyor to ensure necessary tasks are undertaken on time and to budget, to help us deliver our core conservation and estate management objectives.What its like to work hereAs a Senior Let Estate Building Surveyor you will be the technical lead, contact and coordinator for one of Wales two let estate teams. Based at Dinefwr, Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire the portfolio includes some of the Trusts finest landscapes and estates. Covering the whole of South Wales you will be providing expert advice and support and delivering building work to the highest standard.What youll be doingWorking within a team, you will have responsibility for the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance tasks from a high-level perspective, inputting and advising where required.Youll create strong partnerships and raise the Trusts profile with existing and new audiences and as the technical lead you will be expected to provide information and advice to meet the needs of your stakeholders and clients in the portfolio.With a solid understanding of your portfolio you will contribute to property business plans and the conservation performance indicator. You will plan and deliver a programme of short and long term cyclical buildings work and improvements. At times you may also act as project manager, lead consultant or commercial client on small to medium projects.You will be both hands-on and responsive to ensure a high-quality, successful delivery service is maintained. You will provide clear briefs and monitor works closely, with a close eye on risk management and mitigation.Who were looking for
