Meddygfa Teilo is a busy rural practice with approximately 9500 patients cared for by 6 GP Partners, 4 GP Registrars and a large nursing and admin team.We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated part time Treatment Room Nurse who will join our experienced and friendly nursing team consisting of 4 Practice Nurses and 3 HCAs.Previous experience as a Practice Nurse is desirable, but not essential as training will be provided.We are seeking a part time Practice Nurse for treatment room duties to include:Health promotion, travel and childhood immunisations, wound dressing, venepuncture, ear syringing and administration of B12 and contraceptive injections.Salary: £14.50 per hourHours: 22 (over three days) with flexibility to work additional hours to cover annual leave or sickness.Holiday Entitlement: 28 days plus bank holidays (pro rata)NHS pension scheme: The GP Partners will contribute 14.3% toward your pension each month.Welsh speaker is desirable, but not essential.The applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced disclosure and barring service check.Current NMC registration essential.NB The successful candidate will be employed by the practice, not Hywel Dda University Health Board.
