Job Description

Operations Administrator / Logistics Operations Administrator required for a Parcel, Pallet & Courier Company, an award winning overnight delivery company, based in Cannock, Staffordshire, West Midlands. Job Title: Operations AdministratorSalary of circa £19k to £21k, dependent on experience + attendance bonus + benefits.Hours: Monday - Friday, 45 hours per week, with 30 minute break daily.The hours of work will be between 0600 and 2000 however they will be on a rotating basis so start and finish time will vary as per exact shift.An occasional Saturday will be required on a Rota basis, which is paid as overtime.Area: Based out of our Cannock Depot, Product: Logistics Parcels, Pallets and Courier company, with a company philosophy of providing first class service at all times and exceeding expectations.Operations Administrator / Logistics Operations Administrator required for a Logistics, Parcel, Pallet & Courier Company, an award winning overnight delivery company, based in Cannock, Staffordshire, West Midlands. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Administrative assistance within a busy 24-hour Logistics Operations Department.
  1. Communicating via telephone and email with external and internal Customers to resolve queries and provide assistance.
  1. Communicating via telephone and email with Drivers to resolve queries and provide assistance.
  1. Assisting face to face with Customers who may visit the depot.
  1. To assist with Holiday cover within other roles in the Department, including the night shift.
  1. Warehouse administrative duties as and when necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:Strong administration skills required.Able to remain calm within pressurised environment.Excellent communication and organisational skills.Experience of telephone based Customer Service.Have a desire to learn and assist in a variety of roles within an Operational environment.Proficient IT Skills including email, Excel, Data Input, Reporting etc.Past experience within a parcel or pallet network operations department desirable.Geographical knowledge of WS/WV and ST areas desirable.Current Forklift Licence desirable.Driving Licence desirable.Other Key Skills / Experience:You must also have a range of personal skills and attributes including;- Initiative and Involvement- Flexible- Good Team player- Disciplined- Commitment and desire to succeed- Health and Safety awareness- Good verbal communication and inter-personal skills both face to face and on telephone.- Relationship management with others- Stress Tolerance- Reliable and trustworthy- Polite and courteous at all timesOperations Administrator / Logistics Operations Administrator Salary of circa £19k to £21k, dependent on experience + bonus + benefits.Hours: Monday - Friday, 45 hours per week, with 30 minute break daily.Area: Based out of our Cannock Depot, If you are interested then forward your CV as a word attachment to Frazer Required skills
