LGV 2 / HGV 2, Multidrop Collection and Delivery Driverrequired for a local Business to Business Pallet Distribution company, based in Cannock, Staffordshire, West Midlands. Covering WS/WV postcodes, Cannock, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Rugeley, Lichfield, Brownhills etc.Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm or 10am to 8pm, local Deliveries & CollectionsJob Title: LGV 2 Collection and Delivery DriverPackage: Salary of circa £22500 - £25000 made up of basic + attendance bonus + other bonuses, in addition there will be opportunity for overtime at X 1.5, which would take salary up further.Normal working hours are 45 hours a week from circa 8.00 am to 6 pm or 10 am to 8pm, Monday - Friday, plus one in 3 or 4 Saturdays for approx 3 hours on a rota basis.Area: Cannock/Staffordshire. This role would cover WS / WV postcodes,Product: Business to Business Logistics and Pallet CompanyLGV 2 / HGV 2, Multidrop Collection and Delivery Driver required for a business to business logistics and Pallet company.Main purpose of the role is to collect and deliver pallets to and from customers within the Staffordshire / West Midlands area. Covering WS/WV postcodes, Cannock, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Rugeley, Lichfield, Brownhills etc.Key responsibilities for this role will include:- To undertake daily checks of the vehicle as detailed on Defect Report.- To deliver load / pallets to customers as detailed on Load Sheet (with Delivery Notes)- To obtain proof of delivery from each customer by obtaining a signature on Delivery Note.- To collect loads / pallets according to daily Collection Sheet.- To label collected freight on return to the depot or en route if possible.- To park vehicle for the evening and report any problems via completion of Vehicle Defect Report.- To retain Tachograph readings and provide to manager in accordance with Department of Transport requirements.- To assist Warehouse Operatives in loading and unloading vehicle if additional cover or assistance is required in Warehouse.Key Skills / Experience:ESSENTIAL-You will have previous experience of driving Curtain Side /Tail Lift vehicles.-Previous experience of local multi- drop deliveries.-Class 11 (C) license with no more than 6 points.-Drivers CPC-Knowledge of Staffordshire / West Midlands postcode areas. WV & WS.-Map reading skills.-Knowledge of Working Time Regulations and current road traffic legislation applicable to HGV Drivers.DESIRABLE Skills / Experience;-Previous experience of distance deliveries within UK.-Previous experience of working for haulage networks.-Fork Lift truck license, useful but not necessary.-ADR qualification is advantageous but not essential-Use of Digital Tacho Card Holders.You must also have a range of personal skills and attributes including;- Initiative and Involvement- Flexible- Good Team worker- Disciplined- Commitment and desire to succeed.- Health and Safety awareness- Good verbal communication and inter-personal skills both face to face and on telephone.- Relationship management with others- Stress Tolerance- Reliable and trustworthy- Polite and courteous at all timesLGV 2 / HGV 2, Multidrop Collection and Delivery Driverrequired for a local Business to Business Pallet Distribution company, based in Cannock, Staffordshire, West Midlands.
