Job Description

Blue Arrow Derby is proud to be working in partnership with a client who specialise in in using unique bespoke software and cleverly designed strategic marketing packages, to generate and nurture leads for clients to capitalise and expand their market share.They are now looking to recruit Customer Service Advisor to join their team on a full-time permanent, based at their offices in Derby.Hours: Monday - Friday (9:00am - 5:30pm) - 37.5 hour per weekSalary: £20,319 - £22,000There is an option to work hybrid (2 day at home, 3 day a week in the office) but this will only be after a successful probation period has been completed. Therefore, you must still be able to travel and live locally to the offices in Little Eaton, Derbyto be considered for this role.About the Customer Service Advisor RoleAs a Customer Services Advisor you will play a pivotal role as the first point of contact for their valued customers. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service through multiple communication channels, including phone, email,and live chat. You will address a wide range of questions and issues, ensuring that customers receive prompt and effective support. This role requires a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, clear communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.What will I be doing in the Customer Service Advisor role* Respond to inbound queries from customers professionally and courteously, offering assistance and guidance via phone, live chat, and tickets.* Ensure that all customer inquiries are resolved or escalated within specified SLA timescales, maintaining a high standard of service.* Take ownership of customer contacts that require action, coordinating with other team members when necessary to ensure resolution.* Maintain clear and accurate communication with customers, both internally and externally, to provide effective support and maintain positive relationships.* Provide online support and coaching to help customers use our system and products effectively and efficiently.* Record detailed information about customer issues and follow through to completion with guidance from your line manager.* Collaborate actively with the Customer Success team to ensure that recurring training needs have appropriate supporting materials available.* Be proactive in staying up to date with product offerings and changes to provide accurate information to customers.* Collaborate with other departments within the organisation to provide the best possible customer experience.* Take a proactive role in your self-development and participate in Performance Management activities within the business.What will I bring to the Customer Service Advisor role* Previous customer service experience* Strong customer service skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Accountability* Problem-solving* Motivation* Good IT Literacy Skills * Hardworking* Resilient * Good use of initiative* Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.* Commercial Awareness: Understanding the businesss commercial goals and aligning customer service efforts accordingly.* Organisational Skills: Strong organisational and prioritisation skills to manage workload effectively.Where is the Customer Service role basedThe role is based in Little Eaton, Derby, therefore if you live in Derby or the surrounding areas, and are flexible with travel, then this is only a short distance. The client is also a short walk from the local bus stops. Free on-site parking available.
