Contract Administrator (Derby)Job reference number: RAF0007843Who are we looking for An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Contract Administrator to join our team in Derby on a fixed-term basis. You will play a key role in supporting the local management team and operational staff to deliver a high-quality service across the region.   • Assist with the smooth running of the office by performing a range of tasks including answering the phone, dealing with post, updating site notice boards and accurate record keeping.
  • Proven track record in a busy admin role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Help to arrange meetings, organise catering and take minutes as required.
  • Assist managers with the recruitment of operative staff and issuing contracts of employment/ seasonal contracts/ terminations.
  • Liaise with HR and Payroll to ensure that they are kept informed of all staff changes (recruits, salary changes, promotion, leaving dates) and training and development.
  • Record the issue of protective clothing and uniform to employees.
  • Consolidate timesheets for approval by the Contract Manager/Operations Director and enter monthly timesheet data.
  • At least an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in business admin desired but for the right candidate training can be provided.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of people.
  • Demonstrable aptitude to utilise information technology including spreadsheets, email etc.
