Job Description

Finance Administrator/Trainee ParaplannerLinlithgow, West LothianFull Time - 40 hours per week£22,000-30,000 per annum + bonusSearch Consultancy are currently working with a West Lothian based company who are looking to bring on a Trainee Paraplanner. You will provide administrative support to the company Paraplanners and Advisors, whilst also receiving hands on training and the opportunityto earn Financial Service qualifications through Openwork Partnership Academy.This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in Financial Services, make a career move or further your pre-existing skills and experience.Duties involved in this role will include:* Provide necessary support to the Paraplanners, Advisers and Directors when required* Deal with all daily correspondence and relevant postal duties* Maintaining and updating client files in line with GDPR* Processing new business applications and following them through to completion* Recording all lead enquiries on inbound and outbound call, passing them on to management* Preparation of policy summaries, graphs and other required documentation* Drafting and completion of suitability reports* Contacting and liaising with providers for documentation/required information* Use of internal systems for business processing, submission, through to completion and issue of new business* Support in preparation of client files for face to face meetingsIn order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include:* Must be looking for a future in Financial Services, the client will be looking to invest time into your training over multiple years* Must be a driver with a full clean driving license* Confident in administration, preferably in Financial Services but this is not required* Excellent attention to detail with good organisational and time management skills* Team player with a positive attitude, with a keen interest in personal developmentBenefits included with this role:* 25 days holiday (+ bank holidays)* Allowance to cover travel expenses* Quarterly bonus* 5% pension contribution* Free onsite parkingIf this is the role for you, apply now!Please note that only applicants who have the required skills and experience detailed above will be considered for this role.Search is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
