Job Description

Software Developer (C#,.NET, Javascript, SQL, SharePoint)Location/ working pattern: Client are based in Lincolnshire but happy with hybrid/ remote working for the right personSalary: Up to £50,000 based on experienceDue to continued success my clienthas asked me to help find them a Software Developer to join our IT Department.The role is to enhancetheircurrent infrastructure and developing new solutions to improve business efficiency.Key duties in the role include:

Maintain and enhance existing systems.
Improve an existing system currently coded in .NET.
Integrate existing systems with new solutions using APIs.
Develop and maintain new solutions with web front ends and robust database back ends.
Own the maintenance and improvement of business documents using XML/XSLT.
Manage SQL server maintenance and implement security best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proficiency in .NET technologies, including C# for web and desktop applications.
Strong experience with front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with REST API integration and HTTP/HTTPS protocols.
Proficient in database management, SQL (T-SQL), querying, and performance optimization.
Previous experience with XML, XSLT, and document structure.
Understanding of the software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
Reliable and flexible work style to meet production objectives.

Desirable Skills:

Familiarity with SharePoint development, including SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server, and SPFx.
Knowledge of Windows Server editions and application deployment and management.
Understanding of networking concepts and protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP.
