Job Description

Our client is a very well-established and renowned business in their field, supplying chemical products to many manufacturing industries has got an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic HR Assistant / Receptionist to join the team inLeek.They are looking for an HR Assistant / Receptionist to provide support and guidance to employees on all HR related matters. The potential candidate will be a friendly, socially focused individual responsible for providing HR admin service on general duties,including managing the new starters, leavers and recruitment processes. There will also be a duty to act as the site receptionist for a part of each day.HR Assistant duties:

  • Preparing documentation
  • Inputting information onto HR system
  • Response to HR queries and tasks in an accurate and timely manner
  • Responsible for maintaining HR records and producing reports; for example sickness, new recruits, amendments to contracts
  • Dealing with all aspects of recruitment including arranging interviews, updating all databases, inductions and liaising with HR Controller, etc.
Receptionist duties:
  • Dealing with incoming post and outgoing post, including courier deliveries and collections
  • Own and manage the car hire, travel, and buffet processes
  • Purchase consumables/services and maintain stock levels
  • Dealing with regular contractors eg cleaners
Requirements
  • Strong IT skills for presentations, analysis, reports and graphs
  • Experience within administration and an interest in HR or desire to move into this field.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Self-motivated with an ability to work alone as well as part of the team
  • Looking to study or studying CIPD
  • Understanding of GDPR
Hours of work:Monday - Friday, office-based8:45-17:00
