Job Description

Our client is recruiting for an experienced Customer Service Coordinator to join them in Leek. The main purpose of the role is to support customer requirements and deliver excellent customer service, from order acceptance through to delivery of product.Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain effective communication with customers
  • Receive new orders from customers and process on SAP after checking availability, price and agree a delivery date with the customer and subsequently keep customers advised of any delays
  • Arrange sample requests and pre-shipment samples where required
  • Despatch of Samples via courier when other IATA trained staff are not available
  • Undertake regular IATA Training to be able to raise documentation for hazardous airfreight shipments and check drum labelling is correct prior to despatch
  • Log and follow through customer complaints
  • SAP Key User
  • Creation of new Accounts
  • Ensure Customer Master Data is kept up to date
  • Manage the allocation of bulk finished material in storage to upcoming customer orders and arrange PSS where required
  • Liaise with Production to plan canning schedules if a particular product is in short supply
  • Process end of Month Consignment stock
  • Liaise with Logistics department if delivery dates are changed by the customer and transport has already been booked
Qualifications and Experience:Essential:

  • Previous customer service experience
