They are also some of the countrys most compassionate and dedicated people who step forward to help make society better connected and more inclusive- where everyone can thrive.Join Royal Voluntary Service and together we can change lives, change communities and change society.We are currently looking for a Retail & Caf Manager to join our team working in Forth Valley Hospital in Larbert on a full-time basis.What youll be doingAs a Retail & Caf Manager, you will lead a passionate team of staff and volunteers who work hard to deliver outstanding customer service at our caf at the Forth Valley General Mental Health Unit.In this varied role, you will be responsible for:- Delivering exceptional store standards- Engaging, motivating, coaching and mentoring your team- Ensuring the caf complies with statutory standards policies and procedures- Implementing effective performance management processes- Recruiting and co-ordinating volunteers and employees- Monitoring staff and volunteer performance and identifying areas for improvement- Monitoring, evaluating and gathering feedback to identify opportunities to drive sales- Completing regular competitor visits to identify trends and opportunities- Establishing an effective working relationship with the local NHS teamWhat you will needTo be considered as a Retail & Caf Manager, you will need:- Experience of working in a retail environment at management level- Experience of using EPOS systems- Knowledge and experience of general administrative processes- Excellent customer service and communication skills- Proven leadership and people management and/or motivational skills- The ability to use standard IT Microsoft and internet systems to a basic level- A can-do attitude and proficient in maximising sales opportunities- Good literacy and numeracy skillsA full driving licence and access to your own transport would be beneficial to your application.
