This post is full time (10 programmed activities). Most consultants work these flexibly over 4 week days – but those wishing to work less than full time are very welcome to apply.Locum General Radiologist with a Subspecialty Interest: ideally this would complement the existing interests in the department but all interests will be considered.The Radiology Department is a welcoming and cohesive unit; the existing Consultants all have subspecialty interests and Specialist Trainees from both the West and South East Scotland training schemes rotate through the department. There are good relationships with clinical Consultants throughout the hospital. Overnight CT is outsourced from 8pm weeknights, 6pm at weekends.Forth Valley Royal Hospital serves a population of approximately 310,000 and is just 9 years old, with state of the art digital Radiology equipment. It is set in attractive parkland, and located centrally between, and within easy reach of, Glasgow and Edinburgh by road or rail.
