Job Description

We currently have a vacancy for a Financial Planning & Analysis Special Projects Manager with our friendly Finance team in Larbert.In return weoffer a highly competitive salary in return for a Full Time, 37.5hrs per week, MondayFriday position.Reporting to the Head of FP&A, this role provides support around special projects, ad-hoc issues, additional cover on FP&A activities and M&A integrations.Key responsibilitiesin this role include:

  • Delivery of special projects including organise resources, working to tight deadlines, managing simultaneously occurring tasks and shifting priorities, control project change and generate maximum performance & effective communication to all stakeholders
  • Providing financial analysis and solutions to issues as they arise within the business
  • Providing support to the Management Accounts/FP&A team including holiday cover etc
  • Provide support in the integration, and functional restructuring activities relating to merger & acquisition initiatives
  • Work in tandem with the Head of FP&A and the business units to perform project management duties to support the completion of Ad-hoc projects
Experience Desired:
  • Accounting qualification required
  • First class communication skills with the ability to adapt communications to the audience and simplify complex matters
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, provide complicated financial analysis and develop appropriate solutions
  • Hard working and ambitious with strong personal integrity
  • Solid business and financial acumen
  • Comfortable personal style that will allow themselves to be welcomed into many non financial/commercial functional areas, whilst maintaining and gaining respect for their financial/commercial skills
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills, to critically evaluate the information gathered and prioritise work according to business needs
  • Ability to cope with the pressures of short deadlines, last minute requests and competing demands, displaying a pro-active, flexible and positive approach
  • Excellent business & financial modelling skills
  • Minimum 3 years PQE
  • Prior Management Accounts/FP&A experience is desirable
