Job Description

Location: Forth Valley Royal Hospital, Larbert, FK5 4WHours: Full time (37.5 hours per week) over 6 weeks rotational shift patternContract: PermanentSalary: £26,104 - £32,915 dependent upon experience (plus on call & shift allowance)Here at Serco, were looking for an Engineering Services Shift Technician to join us at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, Larbert. The successful candidate will be responsible for fault finding on a wide range of engineering plant and equipment. You will undertakemaintenance, servicing, repairs, minor improvement, and capital work across the hospital as directed by Estates management, ensuring compliance with safety standards and procedures.The Engineering Services Shift Technician will provide responsive day to day maintenance services for all buildings services, plant, and equipment and will be responsible for the continuity of life critical mechanical and electrical services systems andsupplies throughout the hospital.The New Forth Valley site has 860 beds and covers a single site of approximately 95,000 square metres. #sercoapWhat youll need to do the roleYou will be able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role within a large complex service and you will have completed an apprenticeship in engineering or equivalent, or a BTEC / HNC in engineering services or equivalent.
