Job Description

JHE & Partners are partnering a local, international business in Bradford who are looking for a General Ledger Accountant on a permanent basis.This is an exciting opportunity working for a global entity overseeing an array of duties with genuine opportunities to progress and enhance your financial exposure. This is a role that requires a candidate with strong finance experience, therefore you must be fully-qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) to be considered for this role.Duties include:

Close reporting to the GL Manager

Monthly financial accounting for the finance shared services EMEA entities

Detailed variance analysis on the monthly financial reports

Working closely with the FP&A, in country finance, ops and HR teams ensuring all transactions are accurately reported

Balance sheet reconciliations

Month-end closure for the group

Being the key contact for internal and external auditors

Assist with maintaining SOX compliance

Leading and development junior members of the team

Person specification:

Qualified accountant, ACA, CIMA or ACCA

Hands on experience of Financial Accounts

Experience of using SAP would be desirable, but not essential
