Provide support to students in class
Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
Utilise child-based experience to create positive learning environments
Collaborate with teachers to implement effective teaching strategies
Assist with classroom activities and provide 1:1 support for students with diverse learning needs
Provide pastoral care and support to students as needed
Opportunity for permanent placement based on performance

To be considered for this role, you should have:

Previous experience working with secondary school students, preferably in a teaching assistant role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt to different learning needs and styles
Commitment to supporting student development and well-being
A good understanding of the UK Schools curriculum
Outgoing and enthusiastic personality
Proactive and positive attitude towards supporting student learning and well-being
Enhanced DBS, or willingness to undergo the check
