If you have experience in a similar role or with child-based experience, and possess the energyand outgoing personality needed to engage with secondary school students, we want to hear from you!Position: Teaching AssistantLocation: KnutsfordContract Type: Full-Time, Temporary to PermanentPay: £83 - £100 per dayStart Date: ASAPTradewind Recruitment is a leading education recruitment agency, specialising in the placement of education professionals in schools across the UK.About the role:

  • Provide support to students in class
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
  • Utilise child-based experience to create positive learning environments
  • Collaborate with teachers to implement effective teaching strategies
  • Assist with classroom activities and provide 1:1 support for students with diverse learning needs
  • Provide pastoral care and support to students as needed
  • Opportunity for permanent placement based on performance
To be considered for this role, you should have:
  • Previous experience working with secondary school students, preferably in a teaching assistant role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to different learning needs and styles
  • Commitment to supporting student development and well-being
  • A good understanding of the UK Schools curriculum
  • Outgoing and enthusiastic personality
  • Proactive and positive attitude towards supporting student learning and well-being
  • Enhanced DBS, or willingness to undergo the check
