Job Description

Role - Senior Data AnalystLocation - Knutsford - CheshireSalary - up to £65,000 dependant on experience.Skills - SQL / PowerBIWork Pattern - Office Based 5 days per weekSummaryWe have a rare opportunity for a Senior Data Analyst for a rapidly growing company based in Cheshire.The companyThe company are a multi-award winner who have seen their revenue increase 20% year on year. They are a global business who serve 150 countries and 60,000 customers. The company has recently been much more conscious of the significant amounts of data it hasbeen collecting and insights that it may hold both internally and externally therefore significant investment has gone into the data team in the last couple of years.This position is based in the office full time, (they do not offer a hybrid or remote working option) and you being able to drive is a distinct advantage given the office location isnt really doable on public transport. It is easily commutable from theSouth side of Manchester, as well as areas such as Stockport, Wilmslow, Warrington, Chester, Crewe, Macclesfield, and NorthwichThe RoleIn your role as a Senior Data Analyst, youll work with every part of the business, using data and insight techniques to help solve problems. The team people have a growing desire to obtain more and better insights into our customers and business.Key Duties

  • Identify the growth drivers of the business.
  • Build metrics and reporting to support performance measurement.
  • Help the organization to design and run experiments to help select the most effective growth initiatives and policies.
  • Keep reporting simple and informative.
  • Create a balance between provision of management information and alert / notification systems.
  • Embed reporting and review processes into the organization.
  • Be able to bridge the gap between performance and forecast systemically, generating input-based actionable information.
  • Using data to create actionable insights for business stakeholders.
  • Be a part of the business, get involved, make things happen.
Requirements
  • SQL
  • ETL Process to enable data reporting
  • Experience with a visualisation tool such as PowerBI
  • Experience of Python would be advantageous
  • Experience in a commercial capacity producing Data and Insights
